Rural Communities, Chongoene, Xai-Xai

Arnaldo is the technician and partner of the Rural Communities of Chongoene. It guarantees that around 350 children receive a basic essentials basket, uniforms, and school supplies. Arnaldo is an entrepreneur and in 2017 he applied for a Hairdresser’s income generation, Salão Wesley is now open and offers jobs to 2 people. Arnaldo doesn´t stop and UPG accompanies him along his journey.

ALG’s income generation initiatives seek to finance or strengthen small individual and/or community businesses.

With this programme ALG aims to create entrepreneurship habits within rural communities, promote local economy, render families economically independent, increase employment for youngsters, improving their living conditions, and promote local development.
