There are still many young girls at the UPG program getting pregnant at an early age. In previous times, they would automatically drop out of school and consequently lose contact with their sponsorship program because they were no longer part of their school’s community, in many cases, the young pregnant girls were sent far away. A Change

At ALG, we wanted to contradict this imposed distance, the academic drop-outs, whilst at the same time, not promoting pregnancy.

A New Mother: Azélia

Azélia was one of the 6 girls that became pregnant and delivered the baby but wanted to continue studying. ALG provided support for diapers, milk, and essentials for the first 6 months of a baby’s life.

We are ALWAYS here to support the happiness of Mums and their babies.
