After a long lockdown and strict prevention measures, ALG started to support the income generation of some families in Manjangue and Chokwé.
The seven ALG Mummies newly selected for the programme were motivated to start selling products near their homes. ALG provided a new workplace made of blocks and stocked it with products to sell. Among many common products to sell to the community, we can see rice, salt, oil and cookies on these shelves.
Now, with the workplace built and the products ready to sell to the public, the Mummies are ready to start their business and getting some income.
This project had a total cost of £1’681 funded by ALG with a symbolic contribution by the local Mums.
