International Childrens Rights Day

In this International Childrens Rights Day, we celebrate the happiness of Maila, who received running water for the first time!

The access to clean water and basic sanitation is an essential human right that is so often missing in the lives of our kids at A Little Gesture. Thanks to the generosity of her sponsor with our Charity, Maila and her granny were offered running water , in their house near Santa Luísa de Marillac School, in Chokwé.

On November 20th 1989, the United Nation adopted by unanimity the Convention on Children’s Rights, a universal treaty adopted by a large amount of countries around the world. Today at ALG we try every day, with little gestures, to contribute to secure the basic rights of kids like Maila.

Donate towards our cause (here) and celebrate with us the joy of the children in Mozambique!
